Katie is the primary/lead nurse at the San Antonio location and serves as the clinic manager. She came to Transcend with over five years of trauma critical care experience, working primarily at the Department of Defense’s only level one trauma center. Driven by a desire to help people through their darkest moments, she made the transition into the mental health field shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic. Katie strives to create an environment that fosters safety and healing.
She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and three dogs, as well as traveling and cooking.
